Required Skills and Qualification 

  • Working knowledge of clinical research process-i.e budgeting, participant recruitment, protocols, consenting process, record and regulatory management                                                                           
  •  Working knowledge of medical terminology                                                                                                      
  • Possess superior organization skills-data and document management                                                                   
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite                                                                                                                      
  • Knowledge of good clinical practices and patient assessment                                                                              
  • Effective interpersonal skills-ability to be firm, yet diplomatic                                                                                                                                                         
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
  • Ability to interact in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Demonstrated cooperative behavior and positive-problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Available to work dependable, flexible shift

Description of Duties 

  • Management of clinical trials: patient recruitment; coordination and monitoring of study visits and study procedures; venipuncture, data collection, patient education, investigator meeting participation                            
  •  Research study protocols –understanding inclusion/exclusion criteria, understanding medical diagnostic tests       
  • Oversight of clinical and research activities in the clinic                                                                                     
  • Administrative responsibilities                                                                                                                                                                          
  • Other duties as may be assigned (required)
  • Attend and productively participate in staff meetings and trainings as needed
  • Maintain high degree of responsibility for client confidentiality
  • Maintain a pleasant, courteous, tactful attitude with all contacts
  • Work with minimal supervision in exercising initiative in organizing and completing daily tasks
  • Solve minor problems by using judgment based on knowledge of Institute policies and department practices and procedures
  • Meet established productivity and task management standards for assigned duties
  • Overtime is a condition of employment and may be required based on the needs of the Institute
  • Responsible for other tasks as may be required for efficient operation of the department
